PARTÉ
PARTÉ
A harm-reduction app providing nightlife safety education and emergency guidance.
PARTÉ is a mobile app designed to reduce drug overdoses and challenge stigma around drug education in nightlife settings. The name stands for Protect, Act, React, Treat, and Educate, five core principles that structure the app’s content, features, and user flows. Designed in Figma, the project reimagines harm reduction as approachable, engaging, and stigma-free.

The Problem
Overdose rates continue to rise, yet stigma keeps people from seeking information, especially in party environments. The challenge was to make drug education feel natural to access in nightlife spaces, and not shameful or clinical.

The Process
Research into nightlife culture and harm-reduction tools revealed a gap in tone and accessibility. Through wireframes, sitemaps, and iterative prototypes, I built a system that mirrored the energy of nightlife by mimicking the neon lights and ambience found in these spaces in order to foster comfort and openness.

The Solution
The final app delivers life-saving information through an engaging, nightlife-inspired interface. It includes overdose guides, drug identifiers, quizzes, friend tracking, and Apple Watch integration to monitor vitals; making drug education immediate and stigma-free.

Reflection
PARTÉ shows how design can turn a very serious topic into something more accessible and human. With more time, I’d expand real-time response tools and educational modules. The project reinforced that empathy and cultural awareness can drive impact where stigma once stood.
